OHHHH THOSE EROGENOUS ZONES!!!
(abstracted from the book: "The Better Sex Guide" by Nitya Lacroix)

1). A Woman's Erogenous Zones:(man's got to do)

The Arms and Hands:Kiss her hands and wrists tenderly and then suck gently on the fingertips. Pay attention to the soft skin on the underside of the arm, letting your mouth slowly move up toweards the armpit.

Breasts and Nipples: Treat them gently and with great respect. The Breasts are glands, not muscles. This intimate area is packed with highly erotogenic nerve endings, which are directly connected to the emotional centres of her brain. Slowly and deliciously stimulate them with your fingers and your tongue.

Thighs: Lick, kiss or stroke the thighs, especially along the soft skin of the inner thigh muscles and around the groin.

Mons Pubis: The pubic area is a higly erotogenic area on a woman's body, with a rich supply of nerve endings at the base of the hair follicles. Gently rub or tug on the pubic hairs.

Clitoris: Every man should know more about a woman's clit as it is undoubtedly the most sexually important organ in her body, packed with highly erotogenic and sensitive nerve endings to the ame extent as a man's penis. Focus on the clit only when her whole body has become sexually alive and receptive, and then caress if with your tongue or fingers to bring her to the peak of sexual arousal. Watch out for her signals indicating wherehter she wants you to change from gentle caresses to move vigorous stimulation.

2). A Man's Erogenous Zones (woman's got to do)

Chest and Nipples: Stroke his chest and pectorals with your hands, and run your tongue around his nipples before sucking them gently. As with a woman, this area is sensitive to erotic arousal.

Penis and Scrotum:Too much premature attention here coild bring him to ejaculation too soon, as this is the most sexually charged ared of a man's body. Rim your hands and tonmgue playfully over his penis and scrotum, and cover them with tneder and tantalizing kisses, before moving down his body.

Buttocks: Focus attenation on his buttocks, a very sexually charged zone of a man, packed with erogenous nerve endings. Knead and squeeze the fleshy area firmly with your hands.

Back of the body: Men are aoused by sensual touches on the back of the body. Stroke his shoulders and run your fingers down his spine, and then caress his calves and the back of the thighs.

BREAST SELF-EXAMINATION (for women)

"Get into the habit of carrying out a monthly breast examination. If you menstruate, a good time to do this is a week after the first day of your period. Undress to the waist and , with your arms at your sides, inspect your breasts in the mirror, from the side as well as the front. Look for any changes of appearance, such as changes in the outline, puckering or dimpling of the skin(like orange peel). Squeeze the nipple to check for bleeding discharge."

"next, raise your hands over your head and look and see if any puckering or dimpling appears. Put your hands on your nips and push, again looking for puckering or dimpling".

"Now, examine your breasts while lying down on the bed. Place a folded towel under one shoulder and raise your arm on that side above your head to stretch the breasts. With the flat of the hand only, gently feel the breast using a circular movement and working from the outer edge to the nipple. Also feel the lump under the armpit. Repeat with other breasts."

Testicular Self Examination (of course for men)

A). Sexual Hygiene for Men

While the natural musky male smell is attractive to many women, the basic masculine aroma should not be confused with the odour of an unwashed body, which is a positive turn off. Fresh water has no smell, but after six hours bacteria on the skin acts on sweat causing the release of unpleasant odours. A regular shower or bath in necessary, and it is particularly important to wash the anal and genital area, or more often if necessary.

Uncircumcised men should take particular care to wash the glans(head of the penis) regularly, pulling back the foreskin to ensure it is really clean. This is necessary to prevent the buildup of an oily secretion called Smegma, which develop under the foreskin. Smegmais a white substance produced by the Sebaceous or oily substance-- glands under the foreskin that helps it rectract smoothly. Without regular washing, Smegmacan build up and cause infection, whcih can lead to inflammation fo the glands, a conditon known as Balanitis. It has also been linked to cancer of the penis and may cause cervical cancer in partners.

B). Testicular Self- Examination

"Make a point of examining your testicles once a month while you are having a bath or shower. Ensure the scrotum is well covered with soapy lather and then roll each testicle gently between the fingers of both hands. Learns to recognize its normal shape and consistency."

"Carefully probe for any pea sized lumps, or nodules, or any swelling or other changes. After your batch or shower, stand infront of a full length mirror, hold your penis up out of the way and carry out a visual inspection of your scrotum looking for any change in size and shape. Be aware of any pain or sensations of heaviness in the groin or lower abdomen. Report any problem to your doctor."

THOSE INTELLIGENT TRAVELLING FILIPINO POLITICANS
(sent by a friend USTHS73)

a friend has been a travel agent 30 years. She says, of her 30 years of taking reservation requests from government officials, we are all in trouble. Here are a few choice reservation questions from these bright people.

Sen Tessie Oreta, asked for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window.

I got a call from ex-mayor Joey Marquez, who wanted to go to Capetown. Explaining the lenght of the flight and passport information, he interrupted me with," I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusettes. "Without trying to make him look like the stupid one, I calmly explained, "Cape Cod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa."
his response.....CLICK

Congressman Mark Lapid called, furious about a Florida package we did for him and TV star Kris Aquino. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean view room. I tried to explain that was not possible since Orlando is in the middle of the state. He replied, "Don't lie to me. I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state."(so he expected to see the ocean on both sides of the hotel!?? Hmmmmmm)

Sen Ralph Recto's wife asked, "Is it possible to see England from Canada?"
I said, "NO" she said, "But---- they look so close on the map."

Senator Lito Lapid asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. I noticed he had only an hour lay-over in Dallas. When asked why he wanted to rent a car, he said, "I heard Dallas was a big airport, and we will need a car to drive between the gate to save time."

Senator Jinggoy Estrada called last week. He needed to know how it was possible that his flight from Detroit left at 8:20am and got to Chicago at 8:33am. I tried to explain that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois, but he could not understand the concept of time zones. Finally, I told him the plane went very fast, and he bought that!!...hhmmmmmmm.

Congressman Ronaldo Zamora asked,"Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know whose luggage belongs to whom?"
I said, "No, why do you ask that?" He replied, "Well when I checked in with the airline, they put the tag on my luggage that said FAT, and I'm overweight. I think that is very rude!" I looked into it and explained the city code for Fresno, California is FAT and the airline was just putting a destination tag on his luggage.

Former Presidential hopeful now TV star Eddie Gil inquired about a trip package to Hawaii. After going over all the cost info, he asked, "Would it be cheaper to fly to California and take the train to Hawaii?"

I just got off the phone with Senator Bong Revilla who asked, "How do I know which plane to get on?"I asked him what exactly he meant, to which he replied," I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these darn planes have numbers on them."

VP Noli De Castro asked, "I need to fly to Pepsi-Cola, Fl. Do I have to get on one of those twin engine planes?" I asked if he meant Pensacola, Fl. on a commuter plane. He said, "Yeah, whatever!"

Congressman Dilangalencalled and had a question about the documents needed to fly to China. I reminded him he needed a VISA. "Oh, no I don't. I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those."I double checked and sure enough, his stay required a VISA. When I told him this, he said, "I've been to China four times and everytime they accepted my American Express."

Senator Miriam Defensor called to make reservations. "I want to go from Chicago to Rhino, New York"
The agent said, "Are you sure that's the name of the town? "Yes, what flight do you have?"replied the Lady. After some searching, the agent came back with, "I'm sorry ma'am, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't find Rhino anywhere. The lady retorted, "Oh, don't be silly! Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!".The agent scoured the map of the state of New York and finally offered, "You don't mean Buffalo, do you?" then the lady said, "That's it! I knew it was a big animal."

Now you know why the Philippine Government is on the shape that it's in now!!!

MAKE SEX HOTTER (advise for women) Part Two
Abstracted from COSMOMAG by: Nicole Beland)

6. When was the last time you totally relinquised control?

Sometimes sex hould be like getting a massage: You kick back and get serviced from head to toe. "It's about allowing yourself to be worshipped, " says Yvonne K. Fulbright, author of the book The Hot Guide to Safe Sex. "And the best way to do that is to get out of your head and into the moment so that you're really reveling in every sensation he's giving you." It's not just lying there like a log; just relax and let him take over. Besides, having you spread out before him will make your man feel so lucky and lusty, he won't know who's pampering whom.

7. Have you shared a kinky secret or fantasy?

"Fantasies allow us to tap into our deepest desires to get what we really want in bed.", says Etkes That's why sharing a steamy day dream with your man will be music to his horny little ears. "Start with the mildest fantasy you hae," says Etkes "Acting out a fantasy helps you let go of into a randy reality".

8. Are you using your hands to enhance every move you make?

Whether you're caressing yourself or manhandling him, keeping your mitts in on the action can mean the difference between regular roll in the hay and a burn-down-the-barn lustfest. Gently pinch his nipples or run your fingers through his pubic hair. "Letting your digits wander between the legs and your, helps intensify the pleasure that's originating in your erogenous zones."says Fulbright. Why not reach back when you're in cowgirl position to fondle the boys or gently scracth them with your nails. When he's n top, send shock wave through his system by grabing his buttocks and pulling them apart or giving him an unexpected tush slap.

9. Have you been all over his down under?

There are so many pleasurable nerve endings in teh area behind a man's testicles. It's like feel good minefield.Daring bed divas can drag a wet tongue from the stretch of skin behind the penis. Flick his frenulum with your fingers while licking his tip and he'll likely forget his name. Or give him oral sex when he is standing and trace a love line with your finger from the tip of his tailbone, down hic crack, and to his package. Then toy with the male G-spot, or prostrate gland, the biggest pleasure bomb back there. You can stimulate it by rubbing or even pressing your knuckles into the perineum(this is between his balls and backdoor Bust that move when he's about to come and he'll shoot through the roof.

10. Do you know how to play Connect the Hot Spots?

Keeping a playful attitude in bed makes everything from confessing what you want to trying new tricks a million times easier."It's important not to take sex seriously", says Fulbright . "When the focus is having fun, you feel more freed up and relaxed".

MAKE SEX HOTTER(advise for women)
Nota Bene:
... some of my guys office mates who also reads my blog is so upset with me in a nice way, why i am blogging info like this that is pro-women. after i have explained to them my purpose, they all agreed that i was doing the right way. but i will not tell you what i explained and told the gangs at work. sorry!!

(abstracted from COSMOMAG by: Nicole Beland)

1. Have you ever given your man a mind blowing show?

Taking it off for your guy isnt just for his viewing enjoyment-- seeing him drooling with excitement will get you rile up too. to start, use your hands to direct his attention to one body part at a time, and begin to peel of layers of clothing. Make sure you tease him the entire way: Seductively, let your bra strap slide off your shoulder , then slowly pull it back on, or flash some flesh, then cover cover it with your hand or a piece of clothing for a second before baring it completely. Take breaks in your dance to stradle and graind against him. Tantalize him by cupping your breasts in your hands or rubbing them across his face and chest. Then treat your man to the ultimate eye candy and pleasure yourself while sitting in a chair so that your not so private display is right in his life of vision. The one rule--he can look but cannot touch....at leat not until you're given the go ahead.

2. When was the last time you had sex for longer thatn 15 minutes?

Once you and your guy know how to push each other's buttons, it's easy to race toward the finish line. The best way to slow down the action and let the pleasure build is by switching positions. To move seamlessly from one pose to the next, start in the missionary position. Once you're in the groove, sit up, wrap your arms and legs around him, and do the bump-and-grind facing each other. When you're so hot you can hardly handle it, let him slip out for a second and maneuver onto your side so he can spoon you from behind. After several fabulous minutes of this totally new sensation, roll onto your hands and knees and get busy doggie style while stimulating yourself with one hand (or let him) until you two both burst.

3. Have you ever bought a toy to bed?

Not ready for erotice elctronics? Try transforming object you have around the house into provocative playthings.(just don't insert anything inside your body)Wear an inexpensive fishnets to bead and let him rip them off you with his teeth. After one or two prop-enhanced ecnounters, you'll better understand the meaning of letting your creative juice flow.

4. How long has it been since you did it outside the bedroom?

When you quarantine sex to the boudoir, it takes away one of the hottest aspects about getting it on: the idea that the amorous act could happen anytime, anywhere. If you want to keep the passion a little more private, jump him in the dining room or kitchen and try "the hot seat hookup": have him sit in a chair and straddle his lap, facing away from him. Hold on to the table edge to balance and wrap your gams around the chair legs as he trusts.

5. When was the last time you took control?

To make your take control intentions perfectly clear, look him in the eyes and say something like "No moving. I want to do all the work for a while." Then start kissing his neck, shoulders and chest. He'll no dount want to fondle you, but don't let him. Hold his arms and kiss and lick is bod from his earlobes to his upper thighs, slowly zeroing in on his crwon jewels. When his member is hard enough to hammer nails, treat him to you-on-top booty where you do all the pulsing while holding his nads above his head. The benefit to both of you: You're in charge, so you get the kind of stimulations you need to climax...and nothing turns a man on more that a turned on chick.

GUY'S BEDROOM LIES
(Cosmo Mag by: Andrea Scott)

Almost every woman has heard one of these whoppers.

BIG FAT LIE ONE

"This has never happened to me before."
The truth, says sexologist Patti Britton, PhD,
is that when a man can't get it up or fires too fast,
it's likely a problem he's encountered pre-you.

BIG FAT LIE TWO

"Only you can get me hard".
Flattering, yes, but the average man has one erection
every 90 minutes----
and that's just when they are sleeping.!!!

BIG FAT LIE THREE

"I'd wear a condom, but they are all too tight."
Don't buy this from your incredible hulk. Only 6 percent of
men need XL rubbers, say condom manufacturers.

BIG FAT LIE FOUR

"Why would I ever masturbate when I have you?"
According to the Janus and Janus Journal of Sexual Behaviour,
95 percent of men masturbate. Hmmmm.

BIG FAT LIE FIVE

"Of Course we'll just cuddle".
Search your memory.
How has that panned out in the past?

WHAT YOU(MEN) DO THAT PISSES WOMEN OFF
(abstracted from an article from Cosmopolitan by: Jennifer Benjamin)

"You and a girl are having a good time when she suddenly swithes in bitch mode. You're thinking, Huh?Where did I go wrong?Truth is, it was probably something inadvertent, so stop scratching your head. Here, we reveal the seeming innocent mistakes men make."

YOU RUSHED DINNER

No matter how hungry you are, when you're at a nice restaurant with a chick or having a meal she made, don't scarf down your food in seconds flat."Eating together is a bonding activity for women", says Peter Post, author of Essential Manners for Men, " she wants you to spend ome time with you. When you race through the meal, it makes her feel as if you don't really want to be there." Let her know you're enjoying yourself by slowing down.

YOU DIDN'T GET THE HINT

When you're in the mood, you practically hump her leg, but women thow out subtler signals, "If you don't take the bait, she thinks you're not interested in having sex with her", says Carole Altma PhD, author of Don't Have Sex Until You Read Capter 15. More likely, you simply werent paying attention. Keep an eye on those seduction techniques. She touches you more, wears something skimpier to bed, or mentions her visit to the bikini waxer.

YOU GAVE HER ADVICE

Women love to vent. But when your girl friend has a problem, she doesn't always wants you to solve it."She just want support and symphathy," says Linda Austin, psychiatrist and author of Heart of the Matter. "Overwhelm her with advice and she feels lectured, not listened to."The next time she unloads about her crappy day, keep your thoughts to yourself and try this instead: "I'm sorry, honey. That really sucks".

YOU BLEW ALL YOUR ENERGY ON THE BOYS

If you rage with the guys until 4am, shed not going to be happy if you pass out before 10pm with her. "When you manage to get it together for your friends but can't give her the same energy, she feels like you use her as a recuperation companion," says Dr. Austin. It's all about balance. Make sure you're really psyched when you meet up with your girl.

YOU DRESSED LIKE A SLOB

How hard is it to put on a clean pair of pants and an ironed shirt? Not very. Still, many of you (men) will show up looking like you rolled out of bed. "By neglecting your appearance, you're sending her a message that you don't care about the night, " warns Post. "Plus, a sloppy look can be a turn off for women"Hello !! That means no sex for you later.

OUR (WOMEN) NAKED TRUTH
Men aren't the only ones holding back.

Dirty Secret:Only 29 Pct of women always orgasm during sex.

Dirty Secret:About 40 Pct of women have climaxed while asleep.

Dirty Secret:80 Pct of women fabtasize about sex with womeone than their partner.

ONE GOOD REASON WHY NOT TO FLIRT!!!!
A couple was invited to a swanky family masked, fancy dress Halloween Party. The wife got a terrible headache and told her husband to go to the party alone. He, being a devoted husband, protested, but she argued and said she was going to take some aspirin and go to bed and there was no need for his good time to be spoiled by not going.

So the husband took his costume and away he went. The wife, after sleeping soundly for about an hour, woke without pain and as it was still early, decided to go to the party. As her husband didn't know what her costume was, she thought she would have some fun by watching her husband to see how he acted when she was not with him.

So she joined the party and soon spotted her husband in his costume, cavorting around the dance floor, dancing with every nice "chick" he could and copping a little feel here and a little kiss there.

His wife went up to him and being a rather seductive babe herself, he left his new partner high and dry and devoted his time to her.

She let him go as far as he wished, naturally, since he was her husband. After more drinks he finally whispered a little proposition in her ear and she agreed, so off they went to one of the cars and had a passionate intercourse in the back seat of the car. Just before unmasking at midnight, she slipped away and went home and put the costume away and got into bed, wondering what kind of explanation he would make up for his outrageous behaviour.

She was sitting up reading when he came in, so she asked what kind of time he had.

"Oh, the same old thing. You know I never have good time when you're not there."

Then she asked, "Did you dance much?"

The husband replied "I'll tell you, I never even danced one dance. When I got there, I met Pete, Bill Brown and some other guys, so we went into the spare room and played poker the whole evening".

Then the wife asked, "You must have looked silly wearing that costume playing poker all night!" asking her husband with unashamed sarcasm.

To which the husband replied, "Actually, I gave my costume to your Dad, apparently he had the time of his life!".

INMATES FLEE JAIL, RETURN WITH BEER
(Abstracted from Chicago Tribune issue 21jul 04 of the Associated Press)

ROGERSVILLE, Tenn.-- The party's over for four jail inmates accused of walking away from an unlocked cellblock, buying more than two cases of beer and returning to share it with other prisoners.

Ridgy Dean Coleman, Jimmy Joe Stapleton, David Wayne Blizzard and David Allen Hopkins were charged Monday with escape and introduction of intoxicants into a penal institution.

The escape happened Thursday night after cellblock doors at the Hawkins County Jail were accidentally left unlocked and a faulty control panel failed to alert jailers, Sheriff Warren Rimer said.

Two of the inmates then walked out through a fire exit, left the door propped open with a small Bible and made a hole in the exercise yard fence. They walked to a nearby market, bought some beer and returned back to the jail. When the booze ran out, the other two inmates made another beer run to a different store.

Authorities believe the inmates bought three 12 packs and an 18 pack of beer.
"I guess they thought if they come back they would'nt be charged with escape." Rimer said, "but they were wrong".

The store visits didn't raise alarm because the inmates were wearing street clothes borrowed from other prisoners. The jail doesn't have enough of the orang jumpsuits for all inmates.

"It's an unfortunate incident, and the inmates involved are going to be punished," Rimer said, "It's want's really anybody's fault". "At least they came back", he said.

IRAQ IN TRANSITION
FILIPINO HOSTAGE FREED AFTER COUNTRY'S PULLOUT FROM IRAQ(abstracted from Chicago Tribune news 21 July 04 reported by:Edmund Sanders and Richard Paddock)

BAGHDAD - A Filipino truck driver held hostage for two weeks was freed tuesday after the Philippine government met kidnappers demands that it withdraw its small contingent of soldiers from Iraq, rejecting criticism from the U.S.and other nations that the concession might encourage terrorism.

Filipino Angelo dela Cruz, a father of eight whose ordeal captivated the Philippines, was released in front of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Baghdad, according to an embassy guard. He was transferred to the Philippine Embassy and was expected to leave Iraq on wednesday. His wife had been awaiting word of his release in neighboring Jordan.

In the Philippines, a jubilant Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo reported that he was in good health after being held for two weeks by a little known militant group that identified itself as the Iraqi Islamic Army-Khaled bin al-Waleed Corps.

The Philippines has been criticized by the United States and other nations for striking a deal with the kidnappers to withdraw its 51 soldiers in exchange for the hostage's release.

The last Philippine contigency crossed the border into Kuwait on Monday, before the kidnappers Tuesday's deadline. The force was scheduled to leave Iraq on Aug. 20.

"I made a decision to bring our troops home a few days early in order to spare the life of Angelo", Arroyo told the nation , "I do not regret the decision".

Arroyo has been a staunch supporter of the Bush Administration, participating in Washington's war on terror and contributing a small number of troops to the U.S. coalition occupying Iraq. But her popularity at home was so low that she won the election in May with only 40 percent of the vote and could have faced widespread unrest if Dela Cruz has been beheaded as threatened.

The plight of the 46 year old truck driver aroused sympathy throughout the Philippines, largely because so many Filipinos have been compelled to leave their homeland for work. More than 8million Filipinos work abroad, Arroyo said, providing an important source of revenue for the nation. About 4,000 Filipinos have been working in Iraq, where one died this year of mortar attack.

"For Angelo, our nation --- Muslim and Christian alike--- united around our compassion for an innocent in a world of danger," Arroyo said. "A father of eight, Angelo has become a Filipino everyman, a symbol of the hardworking Filipino seeking hope and opportunity."

THE CANCER FIGHTING DIET....From A to Z, the foods you need by: Elaine Magee., MPH, RD
CANCER: The word sends shock waved through women. But there sre reasons to be less fearful and more hopeful about the disease. Scientists continue to gain a better understaninding of the many causes of CANCER, and there's more and more evidence that certain nutrients in food may help prevent the disease. In fact, scientists estimate that approximately 30 to 40 percent of all cancer deaths are linked to diet or other lifestyle factors.

But don't think that popping a handful of vitamin pills will keep you safe. So far, studies have not shown that taking supplements provides similar protective effects. Besides, colorful and flavorful fruits and vegetables are a lot more palatable than a bunch of colored pills.

Anthocyanidins

These potentially cancer-fighting phytochemicals are found in many read and purple fruits, including grapes and grape juice, prunes, blueberries, cranberries, straberries and red apples.

Bread Crust

Researchers at the University of Munster in Germany have identified a possible cancer-fighting compound in bread called pronyl-lysine, which is produced during baking and is found mainly in the crust. Whole wheat pumpernickle and other dark colored breads have the most pronyl-lysine.

Broccoli

Broccoli and broccoli sprouts contain the powerful phytochemical sulforaphane, believed to block tumor growth. Sulforaphane is also thought to kill bacteria responsible for ulcers and most stomach cancers.

Cabbage

It's one of the foods with the highest anticancer activity, according to a report from researchers at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Shredded raw cabbage is a great addition to green salads, and cooked cabbage goes well in stews and casseroles.

Dairy Products

Researchers have known for a while that the lactose (milk sugar) in dairy may increase calcium absoprtion, but now they believe it may also promote the growth of that reduce cancer-causing compounds. According to a new study from the University if Hawaii, women who consumed the highest amount of dairy products were 54 percent less likely to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer than women who had least.

Ellagic Acid

Cranberries, pomegranates, strwaberries and raspberries contain ellagic acid, a phytochemical that may block the body's production of enzymes needed for cancer cells to multiply. Big city dwellers might want to make a bowl of berries strawberries standard fare, because ellagic acid is thought to reduce the genetic damage caused by carcinogens found in tobacco smoke and air pollution.

Fiber

You may reduce your risk of colon cancer by eating plenty of fiber rich fruits, vegetables beans and whole grains. One theory: The Fermentation of fiber with anticarcinogenic effects. Dietary fiber may also decrease the risk of breast and prostate cancer.

Folic Acid

Besides helping to prevent birth defects and protecting the heart, this vitamin may also impede colorectal and other cancers, researchers believe. Spinach, beans, range juice and strawberries are good sources.

Garlic

Studies suggest that a small amount of garlic, as little a s one third of a fresh clove a week, may offer protection against the formation of cancer causing substances, says John Milner, PhD, chief of National Cancer Institute's Nutritional Science Research Group. For maximum protective effects, chop a peeled clove and let it sit for about 15 minutes before adding it to a recipe.

Ginger

Andrews University researchers named ginger as on of the foods with the highest anticancer activity. In animals studies the spice has been shown to slow tumor growth.

Honeydew Melon

This light green fruit is refreshing source of two potential cancer fighters; viramin C and Folic Acid. One cup of melon cubes contains 59 calories, 50 percent of the daily value for vitamin C and 13 percent for folic acid.

Indoles

Those anticancer phytochemicals are abundant in cruciferious vegetables such as broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower and cabbage. In lab and animal studies indoles appear to prevent breast cancer, possibly by reducing levels of harmful estrogens.

Juice

An 8 ounce glass of 100 perdent juice counts toward your daily serving of fruits and vegetables. The top nutirent choices are orange juice, grapfruit, carrot and tomato juice.

Kale

Don't let a day go by without having a serving of this or other dark- green leafy vegetable such as broccoli or brussels sprouts. The contain several important phytochemicals thought to speed up the action of enzymes that break down carcinogens.

Lignans

The richest source of these cancer protective phytoestrogens is flaxseed, which has been shown to decrease the risk of breast cancer, according to University of Toronto researchers. Other good sources include barley, rye, wheat, oats, broccoli, carrots, spinach and legumes (including soy beans)

Mushrooms

They are the number on source of selenium from produce. Due to some encouraging research suggesting this mineral has caner protective effect, the National Cancer Institute is now studying whether selinium prevents prostate cancer.

Nuts
Walnuts and pecans are both good sources of ellagic acid.

Olives

These savory snacks (as well as olive oil) contains the phytochemical hydroxytyrosol, which acts as a potent antioxidant in our bodies.

Onions

Plants in this family (which include chives, garlic, leeks, scallions and shallots) contain the cancer fighting phytochemicals allicin and flaonoids.
men in china have the world's lowest rate of prostate cancer, and researchers say that a diet rich in garlic, shallots and onions may be one of the reasons.

Phytic Acid

This phytochemical, present in whole what products, may supporess reactions in the colon that lead to tumors. Eating 100 percent whole wheat bread is one of the easiest ways to get phytic acid. You can also bake with the while flour and repalce it with an equal volume of whole wheat flour.

Quercetin

Abundant in onions, apples, tea and red wine, this phytochemicals is believed to have strong antioxidantive and anticancer properties. It is also found in smaller amounts of broccoli.

Red Wine

It's an excellent source of resveratrol, identified by cancer researchers as one fo the more promising anticancer food chemicals. High concentrations are also found in red grapes and grape juice, as well as nuts.

Soybeans

They contain phytoestrogens called isoflavens, which may reduce the risk of breast cancer by inhibiting the formation of blood vessels that assist tumor growth. In East Asian countries, where soy is a predominant part of the diet, rates of breast cancer have traditionally been low.

Tea

You may want to trade at least one of your daily cups of java for tea. Both black and green tea are good sources of polyphenols, thought to block the cell damage that can lead to cancer. Tea also contains catechins, which are subgroup of the flavonoid family.

Tomato Products

They contain the anticancer standout Lycopene, a potent antioxidant that may protect against breast, colon, lung and prostate cancers. Cooked or processed tomato foods contains the most lycopene and a little fat (such as olive oil)makes the lycopense most bioavailable.

Umbelliferous Vegetables

The term may not be familiar, but the foods found in this category (carrots, celery, dill and parsley, among others) certainly are Andrews University researchers report that umbelliferous vegetables are among the foods with the highest anticancer activity.

Vitamin D

You can get a dose of Vitamin D which has been linked to lower colon cancer incidence, by drinking lowfat milk and eating fatty fish. And 15 to 20 minutes of daily sunshine provides vitamin D without significant increasing a person's skin cancer risk, according to the American Institute of Cancer Reaserch.

Whole Grains

Brown rice, whole wheat and other whole grains contain fiber as well as the phytochemical saponin, which may neutralize cancer causing substances in the intestine and possibly reduce the risk of colon cancer.

Exta Hot Chili Peppers

Go for some pleasure along with the pain. Capsaicin, the phytochemical that's responsible for chili's "heat" may also interfere with cancer developement.

Yams

They're loaded with beta carotene (which may protect against several cancers by preventing damage from oxidation) and potentially cancer figthing folic acid and vitamin C.

Zucchini

This green squash is a great way to get your daily vegetable serving. One cup of steamed zucchibne slices gives you 2 grams of fiber, 7 percent of the daily value for beta carotene and 19 percent for folic acid, all for just 25 calories.

DEFINITIONS:

Antioxidants Substances found in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds that protect against cell damage.

Flovonoids Pigment producing compounds found in plants that act as antioxidants and offer a wild range of protective health benefits.

Phytochemical A natural compound found in plant food that works along with nutrients to protect against disease and my have anticancer properties.

FILIPINO ODDITIIES.......
(this is abstracted from an issue from The Philippine Star 19 July 2004 entitled:"LIVING ALIVE" by Dero Pedero)

Filipinos are weird. Okay let's be kinder and say they are different.Filipinos are usually uncertain and undecided. They have a penchant for staying in the gray, non committed area. Then they say yes or no, they actually mean maybe. They'd really rather answer you with a maybe(baka or yata)than with a yes or no.

Sexually Ambiguous Pronouns

Another oddity in the Filipino Language is that Tagalog hasnot pronoun that directly translates to he or she(in Spanish el or ella)The pronoun siyarefers to both he or she.Furthermore, the Filipino language also has no one-word equivalent for daughter; the word anak (child) refers to both sexes.

For this reason, many Filipinos interchanged the pronouns he and she when they are said in English. Some even have the difficulty in determining whether to say "maa'am."Strange but it is true! So next time a waiter calls you "maa'am" and yo are a male or vice versa, just smile and say, "Its' a Filipino oddity".

Everyone is a Tito or a Tita

The daughter of balikbayan (a visitng overseas Filpino) friend complained and said "Why is it in this country, I have so many uncles and aunts? Everyone is a Tito(Uncle) and Tita(Aunt)?"em>

In another extreme case, there was a scoeity matron who was addressed by a lady as tita.Fuming, she replied:, "Why, do I know you? Are we related? how dare you call me Tita!"The matron insisted that the young lady had no right to be familiar with her, addressing her as tita.

At a recent party, a youngish friend called an older lady, titaand she got offended and said: "I'm not that old!".

On the other hand, I have a friend who gets slighted when he is called by his first name and prefers to be called titobecause he feels esteemed and respected.

With these various reactions, what's a young person to do? We all know that tito and tita have taken the place of older titles of respect like ka, manong, manang, mang, and nana.In Filipino culture, the elders are given utmost respect and honor when talking to them, young people have to insert the word po every so often, in deference to their seniority.(The word pohas no direct English translation; in the United States they call you by your first name even though you are already 95 years old)

More Language Oddities

Two names that are very common in the Philippines are Maricon(short for Maria Concepcion) and Pido,In spanish, Maricon means homosexual and Pido means Fart.

Drinking soda in a plastic bag! ( I am told this is actually a third world oddity, not exclusively Pinoy).

Pointing with the lips. (are we lazy to gesture with our hands, instead we use the mouth to point with instead?)

Putting coins in one ears.(How's that for an environmetally friendly coin purse)

Long nails on the pinky of little finger. (The better to pick the nose and ears with Ugh!)

Psssst! (Blowing or sucking in air to make noise to attract attention.)

Rubbing a handkerchief on or kissing the feet of statues of saints. (This was during the outbreak of SARS)

Calling waiters BOSS (Who ever started this should be banished.)

And of course, the definitive balikbayan boxYou can tell if the traveller is a Pinoy from the telltale (or shall I tell-all) balikbayan box. As if the box is not weird enough, what's inside the box is even weirder "corned beef" like as if we dont have corned beef in the Philippines.

A Light Moment

At a restaurant, an American guest was flabbergasted whent he waiter asked:"Have you pinis, sir?"Of course, he meant, "have you finished (eating), sir? so he could take away the plate.Filipinos, especially those who speak the Pampango dialect have difficulty differentiating the pronounciation of "P" from "F"

MAGIC BEER
a lady walks into a bar and sees a really goodlooking guy sitting at the bar by himself.she goes over and asks him what he is drinking.

"Magic Beer", he says.

she thinks he's a little crazy, so she walks around the bar, but after realizing that there is no one else worth talking to, goes back to the man sitting at the bar and says:

"That's not really Magic Beer, is it?"

"Yes, I'll show you."

he takes a drink of the beer, jumps out of the window, flies around the building three times, and comes back in the window.

the lady can't believe it, so she said:

"I bet you can't do that again".

he takes another drink of the beer, jumps out of the window, flies around the building three times, and comes back in the window.

she was so amazed that she says she wants a Magic Beer, so the guy says to the bartender;

"Give her one of what i am having".

she gets her drink, takes a gulp of the beer, jumps out the window, plummets 30 stories, breaks every bone in her body, and dies.

the bartender looks up at the guy and says,

"You know SUPERMAN, you're a real asshole when you're drunk!!".

HEARTBURN
"Heartburn is the one of the most common gastrointestinal illness in the United States. Fortunately, lifestyle changes and treatments can help get rid of the pain for good."Paulo Pacheco, MD ( clinical assistant professor ofmedicine, New york University School of Medicine)

WHAT IS IT?

this is characterized by a burning discomfort in the chest or throat, heartburn affects an estimated 61 million Americans. it occurs when the valve that separates the esophagus from the stomach does not close properly, allowing stomach acids to leak back into the esophagus. indigestion usually describes heartburn experienced directly after meals.

CAUSES:

*** eating spicy, acidic, fried or fatty foods.
*** drinking caffeinated, carbonated and alcoholic beverages.
*** consuming large meals especially before bedtime.
*** eating too quickly.
*** stress or trauma.
*** smoking.
*** obesity.
*** medications such as antidepressants, and some antibiotics NSAIDs.
*** pregnancy.
*** hiatal hernia.

SYMPTOMS:

although symptoms can differ from person to person, most people experience burning sensation that begins in the chest, then spreads into the throat causing a sour or bitter taste. other symptoms include nausea, belching, sore throat, hoarseness, bad breath, or difficulty swallowing.

WHEN IT'S SERIOUS:

severe or frequent heartburn can be a sign of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) left untreated, GERD can lead to inflammation, narrowing or ulcers of the esophagus. it can also increase your risk for pulmonary fibrosis abd esophageal cancer. if you suspect you have GERD, see your doctor to determine the best course of treament.

heart attack symptoms can mimic those heartburn. if pain spreads to the upper body, is accompanied by weakness or dizziness, or is triggered by physical activity, seek immediate medical attention.

PREVENTION:

*** LIMIT FOODS AND BEVERAGES THAT CAUSE SYMPTOMS OR INTERFERE WITH ACID FLOW.
*** DECREASE PORTION SIZES AND EAT MORE SLOWLY.
*** EAT MEALS AT LEAST THREE HOURS BEFORE LYING DOWN.
*** WEAR LOOSE-FITTING CLOTHING.
*** STOP SMOKING.
*** LOOSE WEIGHT.
*** EXERCISE REGULARLY.

WHY AM I IN SUCH A BAD MOOD?
A sad mood does not necessarily mean you have a clinical depression. It could be a symptom of an underlying medical condition, a reaction to a medication you're taking or even consequence of not getting enough sleep.

THYROID DISORDERS:
------------------
"a sluggish thyroid, known as hypothyroidism, can cause feelings of lethargy, moodiness and fatigue, as well as weight gain, constipation, hair loss and even heavy periods for women.an underactive thyroid can look like very much like depression."

PERIMENOPAUSE:
--------------
"every woman makes the transition from being fertile to no longer ovulating or releasing eggs. in most women that transition is known as perimenopause, begins two to seven years before menopause, but it can begin as early as 10 years before periods stop. perimenopause can often be accompanied by some symptoms as menopause---night sweats, vaginal dryness, hot flashes and for some women, frequent mood swings triggered by surges and drops in hormone level."

IRON DEFICIENCY ANEMIA:
-----------------------
"this form of anemia occurs if you don't have enough iron in your body and are unable to produce sufficient amounts of red blood cells. its most common among women of childbearing age because they lose blood each month during menstruation; it also occurs because of inadequate iron in the diet or because your body does'nt absorb iron well. although mild anemia often has no symptoms, if you have serious anemia, you may feel moody and irritable, tired, weak or short of breath. you may develop headaches and a rapid heartbeat, and your skin may look unusually pale."

LYME DISEASE:
------------
"complication from Lyme disease include chronic joint pain, severe headaches, neck stiffness and neurological conditons such as depressions.the bacteria that cause Lyme disease is most transmitted often by the bite of an infected deer tick. most people who are bitten by an infected tick develop a bulls eye rash that maybe accompanied by flu like symptoms, aching muscles, fever and joint pain."

DIABETES:
----------
"people with undiagnosed diabetes may feel irritable and fatigued and suffer constant hunger or thirst, frequent urination and unexplained weight loss.if glucose level are too high, diabetes is probably the cause. diabetes is treated with proper diet changes, increased exercise and medications that improve the body's ability to produce and use insulin."

MEDICATIONS;
------------
"depression is an unpleasant side effect of many medications. if you're feeling down, the first thing you should look is waht medications you have started taking in the last eight weeks. drugs that commonly cause depression include any kind of hormonal contraception, such as birth control pills and patches, progesterone and some kinds of beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, painkillers and seizure medicines. sometimes going out of drugs causes the problem. patients that stop taking steroid causes depression."

EXHAUSTION:
-----------
"people who dont get enough sleep experience depressive symptoms.if you get plenty of sleep and still feel tired, you may have an undiagnosed sleep disorder, such as sleep apnea, narcolepsy or restless leg syndrome."

DIAGNOSING TRUE DEPRESSION:
---------------------------

*** persistent sa, anxious or empty moods.
*** loss of interest or pleasure in activities, including sex.
*** restlesness, irritability or excessive crying.
*** feelings of guilt, worthlessness, helplessness, hopelessness or pessimsm.
*** sleeping too much or too little; early mornign awakening.
*** unexplained changes in appetite or weight.
*** decreased energy, fatigue or a feeling of being slowed down.
*** thoughts of death or suicides.
*** difficulty concentrating, remembering or making decisions.
*** persistent physical symptoms taht do not respond to treatment, such as headaches, digestive disorders and chronic pain.

e-MAIL PRIVACY

Whether you are sending messages at the office or from home, remember that there is no ironclad guarantee of privacy. Treat e-mail like an open note you might leave on a coworker's desk. Incidents of employees losing their jobs because of offensive or controversial e-mail content, friendship that are lost over e-mail exchanges, and private information unecessarily discovered are all precautions to be considered. There are romantic love affairs being discovered by the wrong person -- let's just say that you want to avoid all such scenarios happening to you.

DOOOOOOO'S

1. DO be sure to reference the subject you are in an e-mail.

2. DO check to be sure that your business contact prefers e-mail to a fax or call.

3. DO use proper grammar and punctuation.

4. DO address the recipient by first or last name or a brief salutation.

5. DO try to acknowledge messages in a timely fashion.

6. DO designate all extremely personal dialogue to a phone call.

7. DO ask correspondents who bombed you with frivolous e-mails to take your name off their mass mailing lists.

8. DO respect busy schedules by avoiding counterproductive questions.

DOOOOOONNNNTT'TS

1. DON'T continue to e-mail the person of an unreturned message.

2. DON'T gossip (especially about the boss).

3. DON'T pass along off-color jokes or offensive language.

4. DON'T abuse personal e-mailing.

5. DON'T feel obliged to open "junk" e-mail.

6. DON'T forward sensitive e-mail messages.

7. DON'T use e-mail to discuss personal or interoffice complaints or problems.

NETIQUETTE: Chat Rooms and the Internet

In the early days of chat rooms and newsgroups, there were no rules. Newcomers logged on and observed. Sometimes what they saw was not very pleasant: people calling each other names, making unflattering assumptions, morphing from one persona to another, getting personal, monopolizing the conversation. Quickly discovering that such an enviornment is more prone to uncivilized behavior, ethics became increasingly important and NETIQUETTE was born. The COMPUTER ETHICS INSTITUTE has formally addressed these issues in THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF COMPUTER ETHICS as follows:

1. THOU SHALT NOT USE A COMPUTER TO HARM OTHER PEOPLE.

2. THOU SHALT NOT INTERFERE WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S COMPUTER WORKS.

3. THOU SHALT NOT SNOOP AROUND IN OTHER PEOPLE'S FILES.

4. THOU SHALT NOT USE A COMPUTER TO STEAL.

5. THOU SHALT NOT USE THE COMPUTER TO BEAR FALSE WITNESS.

6. THOU SHALT NOT USE OR COPY SOFTWARE FOR WHICH YOU HAVE NOT PAID.

7. THOU SHALT NOT USE OTHER PEOPLE'S COMPUTER RESOURCES WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.

8. THOU SHALT NOT APPROPRIATE OTHER PEOPLE'S INTELLECTUAL OUTPUT.

9. THOU SHALT THINK ABOUT THE SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE PROGRAM YOU WRITE.

10.THOU SHALT USE A COMPUTER IN WAYS THAT SHOW CONSIDERATION AND RESPECT.

CELL PHONES

You would never consider taking an alarm clock into the theater and risk it going off in the middle of a play. Yet, when it comes to the cell phone, we all seem to forget how disruptive the ringing can be.

DOOOOOOOOOO'S

1. DO respect those around you when using your phone.

2. Do keep your voice down.

3. DO take calls in a private or separate area that is quiet whenever possible.

4. DO turn you cell phone off, or switch it to vibrate, at business meeting, restaurants and public place.

5. DO keep conversations short and to the point if you are forced to take a call in the company of others.

6. DO make every effort to be accessible to important calls without disturbing those whom you are with.

DOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNTTTT'S

1. DON'T put your cell phone down on the dining table.

2. DON'T try to walk around while on a call--- youmay move into a dead zone.

3. DON'T talk to someone else (the waiter, someone on the street, etc) while on the phone. It's disorienting and disconcerting for the caller.

4. DON'T discuss private matters -- such as relationships or finances-- in public places.

5. DON'T talk about other people by name in a public space/place.

6. DON'T use inappropriate language.

7. DON'T drive and dial; ask your passenger to assist in making the call or pull over.

IN FRATERNAM MEAM......My Brother
My brother will be discharge tomorrow tuesday 13 July from the Manila Medical Center. He will now be undergoing his home care at home with my parents and a 24hr home care nursing assistants. There are so many things that my sister and my sister in law has to learn. They have to learn how to change the bandage on my brothers tube on his neck, the feeding bag that is attached outside that feeds his stomach externally and the adjustments of his belt bag, has to be rigorously be leanred by them too.

My parents house has now been re-configurated like a small hospital room complete with all the necessary equipments that my brother will be needing for his comfot and his home care. We will give him all the things that he needed to ease his pain and his burden.

All his medical stuff that he needed will be fedex by me from the states coming from my other brother and sister abroad. I can send it via Fedex with a big discount cuz i work for the airline that transport some of the fedex paks.

The price of medical supplies in the Phils. is enough to shorten the life of a sick person back home, not to mention the mounting cost of doctors fee and hospitalization and medication. I weep for those back home in Pinas who does not have resources to take care of the needs of their love ones who are in dire need of medical assistance.

The hospitalization and the chemothreraphy of my brother is more than enough to get an average earner broke and credit ridden. I cry for them for also.

We will now look forward into the comfort of my brother at home. I will come home this 05Aug to see him and stay with him for 15days and teach my sister in law how to make cream food and blender type of food for my brother, so that he will not be reliant on the tubal feeding externallly. Hopefully with God's help everything will be confortable for him.

If we can only sustain the life of my brother with money---we will gladly do it.

BUT I THINK THERE IS A PLAN FOR HIM AND A CHALLENGE FOR ALL OF US LIVING.

I TOLD MY BROTHER ....

FOR EVERY HARDSHIP AND PAIN -- THERE IS A CORRESPONDING REWARD
AND FOR EVERY REWARD --- THERE IS A PURPOSE.

MORTUS TUI
MY KID BROTHER IS IN THE HANDS OF THE DOCTORS AT THE MANILA MEDICAL CENTER. HE IS IN CLOSE WATCH RIGHT NOW AND UNDERGOING SO MANY CHEMO TREATMENT. AS SOON AS I WALKED INTO MY HOUSE THIS MORNING AT 4AM COMING FROM WORK, I CALLED THE HOSPITAL BUT UNABLE TO GET THRU THE LINE. (WHY IS IT SO HARD TO CALL THE PHILS?) SO I SEND TEX MSGS TO MY KID BROTHER.

I TOLD HIM THAT I WILL BE SENDING HIM SOME FOOD STUFF THAT HE CUD EAT IN CREAM FORM VIA FED EX. HE IMMEDIATELY REPLIED AND SAID HE LIKE IT. HE SAID HE IS ON HIS WAY TO THE CHAPEL OF THE HOSPITAL TO ATTEND THE MASS WITH MY PARENTS AND MY SISTERS.

I TOLD MY BROTHER TO PRAY AND ASK THAT HIS SICKNESS BE TRANSFERRED TO ME AS LONG AS HE GETS WELL. I TOLD HIM THAT I HAVE BEEN USED TO SO MUCH PAINFUL AILMENT IN MY LIFE.

MY BROTHER DID NOT KNOW THE FINAL ANALYSIS OF THE DOCTOR. MY PARENTS ADVISED AND ORDERED THE DOCTOR NOT TO TELL HIM.

THE DOCTORS SAID THEY CAN ONLY ESTIMATE UNTIL END OF AUGUST.

IS THERE ANY OTHER THINGS THAT WE COULD ASK...IS THERE ANYTHING THAT WE COULD TRADE....IS THERE ANYTHING WE COULD OFFER TO SAVE HIM....IS THERE ANYTHING IN THE WORLD THAT COULD HEAR THE PLEADING OF MY AGING PARENTS FOR THEIR AILING AND DYING SON? I WISH THERE IS SOMETHING, BUT THERE IS NONE.

I TALKED TO MY MOTHER AND SHE TOLD ME CRYING ON THE FON, THAT IT IS NOT GOOD FOR THE MOTHER AND FATHER TO BURY THEIR CHILDREN---- SHE SAID IT SHOULD BE THE CHILDREN SUPPOSSEDLY BURYING THEIR PARENTS.

WHAT CAN I TELL MY MOTHER.... SHALL I TELL HER NOT TO WEEP AND CRY, CUZ EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT, EVERYTHING WILL TURN OUT OKEY AND HER YOUNGEST SON....HER BABY WILL SURVIVE AND WILL RETURN BACK HOME!! WHAT CAN I TELL MY MOTHER TO EASE HER PAIN AND HER LAMENTATIONS.

MY FATHER TOLD ME HE IS ALREADY 83 YEARS OLD AND ASKED ME HOW COME IT WAS NOT GIVEN TO HIM, JUST TO SAVE MY YOUNGER BROTHER. I TOLD MY FATHER WHO WAS CRYING ON THE FON----AND TOLD HIM, I WISH I HAVE AN ANSWER FATHER..... BUT I DON'T HAVE.... I REALLY DON'T HAVE. I WISH I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL MY FATHER TO EASE ALSO HIS SORROW.... I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO TELL MY PARENTS.

I DID NOT LET THEM HEAR ME CRYING ON THE FON, BUT AS I BLOG THIS ENTRY.... I STARTED CRYING, I HAVE TO CRY. I WANTED TO REACH OUT TO BROTHER AND WHISPER IN HIS EARS TO FEAR NOT CUZ EVERYTHING WILL TURN OK... BUT I CANNOT...I CANNOT....BECAUSE ALL HAS BEEN SET.......

M O R T U S T U I .

I CANNOT EVEN TURN BACK THE TIME WHEN WE ARE ALL TOGETHER AND HAPPY AS ONE BIG WHOLE FAMILY.

THE ONLY THING I PRAY IS THAT MY PARENTS, ESPECIALLY MY MOTHER WILL NOT BE DISHEARTED ON THIS THING AND MAKE THEM BOTH SICK AND GIVE UP ON LIFE.

WHY IS DEATH SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?....
WHY CAN'T YOU NOT HANG ON TO ALL THAT IS DEAR TO YOU?.......
WHY CAN YOU NOT MAKE THINGS GO BETTER?.......
WHY DOES THE MESSENGER OF DEATH COMES LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT?.....

I WILL SLEEP WITH TEARS IN MY EYES AND HEARTBROKEN. IT IS SO HARD TO SEE LOVE ONES JUST FADE AWAY IN THE APEX OF THEIR YOUNG LIFE............

GIVE STRENGTH TO MY KID BROTHER
There are many things in life that have come and gone to our family. We have our trials and there is nothing close to the trials that we are now having because of my youngest brother's illness. The doctors have opened up his tumor but was not able to removed it, because it will easily end my kid brothers life.

Last sunday 04 of July, my eldest sister broke the news to my father regarding the state of my kid brothers health. It was so devastating for him. The family doctor was present when the news was given to my father for fear he might have a heart attack. My father had a quadruple bypass. I just talked to my youngest sister just now on the fon from the Phils. and she told me that our father has taken it so seriously. So our family doctor is contineoulsy monitoring my father and his heart.

My kid brother has now undergone again series of chemo theraphy. The doctors have advised my family back home, that they will do all possible to prolong his life and less pain and agony for him. A new bedroom has been re-arranged and been re-configured for him at our parents house so that he will always be close to our parents, as ordered by my father. new hospital bed and all the provisions has been installed and made for him, to make him comfortable as much as possible. His family is also in the same house in another room to be close at hand anytime.

I lament and I am in tears for him. He does not deserve this. He has been given two kids that is autistic and he never complained about it. Now---- we were told by the doctors, that it is now his COMFORT that they are attending to--- no longer the avenue of saving him.

I cannot go further on with this entry.
