just rerturned back from pinas on a four day visit with my parents and my relatives. it was very nice, except for all the rains that kept on pouring in the afternoon until the next morning.
and yes, i was so thrilled to see that the kababayans are all so engrossed with the kris aquino and joey marquez "love potion no 9" problem sa buhay.
imagine the whole country is involved into it and lots of discussions and even public debate. i was asking myself, if the country will profit into these spectacles and to the tabloids news and gossips that is being printed being telecast on TVs.
however, i have other things to do than listen and watch all these hubllabaloo on television, so i drove around the metro area to see the many sights of manila and suburbs.

i saw lots of mens urinal along the sucat road as joint project of the metro manila commission, it was a smal cylindrical in shape outpost, standing room only and even painted in shocking pink ba iyon or what? bakit walang pang babae? hindi ba discriminatory ito? just because eh kaming mga boys can stand and not the girls, kaya ba walan silang urinal stations. in sucat, this is every 500 hundred yards.

only in pinas did i saw a sign at kamuning ROCA PAWN
SHOP THAT SEZ.....
"tumatanggap kami ng sanla na cel fon"

i was driving at the toll way and took my friend home and exited silang, cavite exit...i saw this sign...
'BAWAL MAGTAPON NG PATAY NA ASO DITO"
ok, aso o kaya pusa pwede kayang itapon on that spot?

inside bf homes phase one, there is a barber shop that is advertising....

along san andres bukid and highway, i saw a very peculiar sign from one of the houses along the highway and the sign sez.....
"ang aso namin ay ulol, matakot kayo!"
ulol pala, bakit pa nasa loob ng bahay? ULOL, din kaya ang owner?

right across from the freight forwarders offices along sucat there is a restaurant called:
"MANG DONALD"
"Bukas kami buong gabi at ang specialty namin ay panga na inihaw, chicaron bulaklak, at ASO"
don't ask me if the ASO is luto or buhay.

sa may mandaluyong, there is a small side street near the memorial chapels that has a marquee that sez....
"lahat ng pumasok dito, malungkot, lumabas ng may tawa sa mukha".
i dont know if the face of whoever went inside this place was given a facial massage or stretching. do't ask me-- i did not dared to enter and see what is inside.

along Dr. Santos ave in Paranaque, is a clinic whose name i will not mention, but i like the slogan...
"WE DO CIRCUMCISION(TULE), tattoo,ear piercing, removal of eyebag without surgery and ANYTHING ABOUT THE SKIN"
dedma this place---- nagsimula sa "Tule", nagwakas anything about the skin. i hope the instrument used for the "Tule" is not used for other things for the face.

there is a slogan in one of the Jeepneys along sucat road routes and it sez.....
"GOD KNOWS JUDAS NOT PAY".
very oriented sa biblical words and works ang driver na ito.
