I have just celebrated saturday,12jun my 25th wedding anniversary. my wife and i talked about the lasting friendship that we have together. we talked about heart and so i read the heart of woman about risk of women's heart problem.

2. What is my blood pressure? what odes it mean for me, and what do i i need to do about it?
3. What are my cholesterol numbers? (these includes total cholesterol, LDL or "bad" cholesterol , HDL or "good" cholesterol, and triglycerdies) what do they men to me and what do i need to do about them?
4. What are my "body mass index" and waist measurement? do they indicate that i need to lose weight for my heart?
5. What is my blood sugar level,a nd does it mean i'm at risk for diabetes?
6. What other screening tests for heart disease do i need? how often should i return for checkups for my heart health?
7. What can you do to help me quit smoking?
8. How much physical activity do i need to help protect my heart?
9. What is a heart healthy eating plan for me? should i see a resgistered diatitian or quatified nutritionist to learn more about healthy eating?
10. How can i tell if i'm having a heart attack?
EAT FOR HEALTH
The health of your heart has a lot to do with the foods you eat.
** choose a variety of grains daily, especially hwole grains.
** choose a variety of fruits and vegetables daily.
** choose a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, and moderated in total fat.
** choose and prepare food with less salt.
** aim for healthy weight.
** be physically active every day.
** keep safe food to eat.
